Greetings AV-NAACP!

Welcome to our virtual home! We’re excited about the work we are doing and invite you to join this movement that has been lifted by people of color for over 100 years.

The truth is, we are facing great challenges. While we identify them, we must also recognize they are not impossible to overcome. From the outside, the community of color (black and brown people) are continually underrepresented, underfunded, and undervalued. From within, the winds of change have been effective in pointing out our differences. However, it is up to us to find common ground together. Admittedly, this will require a level of courage that produces humility from all of us in order to move forward and build upon a solid foundation of past leaders and their work in this community. We can do this by refocusing on our organizational mission and moving forward to seize the moment.
